I’ve finally started watching Person of Interest! It is... it is kind annoying right now, actually, with a partial rewatch of Leverage fresh in my mind, but I am holding out because I have heard there are a.i. and lesbians and I’m willing to put up with this protagonist for now. I’m still in Season 1 so there is plenty of time for everyone to grow (especially you, grimdark batman). I really like Fusco. :\
Not unrelated, I’m also finally working my way through the Dresden Files. I started from book 7, caught up, and am circling my way back from the beginning. I am enjoying it way more than expected, although I could stand to hear less about Dresden’s line of beautiful fridged women who inexplicably want his OP dick. My only complaint! I’m having a ton of fun with this series.
Anyway, to be 100% superficial about this, I can’t help noticing that: Carter is Murphy, Eliase is Marcone, Snow is Morgan (?? possibly. snow could be elaine although this current episode suggests that role may be filled... and also i have no idea what is going on in POI yet), Reese is an extra murderous Dresden, and FINCH COULD BE BOB???? okay, maybe not. definitely not. I’ve barely dented canon #1; don’t expect perfection here.
... also mr. reese has no fat cat or massive dog or, like, friends and i hope this changes.
