UGH, I KNOW RIGHT? Supposedly he based them all on his wife, so I guess she probably had quite the attitude as well, hehe. Their character development is very gradual and often frustrating, but makes sense in the context of the society they live in.
He based ALL OF THEM on ONE person?!! No WONDER I find his style so irritating! What kind of doofus makes that many characters based on ONE person? Augh, I know the guy is a good writer, but that is just ridiculous; no wonder they all seem to have the exact same flaws. That bugs me more than them HAVING the flaws, sometimes they seem to act exactly the same, same responses and mental blocks and everything. Humanity begets diversity and this just comes across to me as him lacking an understanding of women.
Fair point about the society, which may be why I have developed a severe lack of respect for the female side of this culture. XD;
