14 for the ask game!
if you could give a TED talk on anything, what would you talk about?
I feel like I could do a pretty good TED talk about explaining why Mina is the main character of Dracula. It's why I'm adapting the damn book in the first place because it just seems so obvious AND YET
Hiiiii just to let you know !! I used to be a big fan of Patrick (still am) and yesterday I saw your graphic novel and Garlic series in an English library in Paris !!! I was so happy to find your comics there !!! The Garlic series is absolutely ADORABLE - I adore the Count because VAMPIRES - and The Firelight Apprentice was so so good !!!! I don't know what your future projects are but I wish you the best of luck with them !!! I really adore your work and the universes you create, and your art style !!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Awww!!! I know France is very particular with how many international works their publishers take on to translate but happy to hear Garlic has still found her way into French libraries. And it's very comforting to hear you enjoyed Firelight (that one has been hit and miss with folks).
If you like vampires, then I have good news as my current WIP is an adaptation of Dracula centering Mina POV of the events of the OG novel. Working on it has been a bit of challenge given is it a very intimidating project but I hope people are excited to read it when it comes out in 2027 ^v^
