3. What is/was your character’s relationship with their father like?

nonexistent, because allie never met him. he was a one night stand that was completely out of the picture the moment olette got pregnant with allie. her mother also frequently talked about him negatively and said that he abandoned them. if asked, she would say she doesn't have a father, because she never met him and he wasn't involved in raising her.

5. On an average day, what can be found in your character’s pockets?

a whole bunch of nonsense :) some examples of things that may be found on any given day: flowers, mushrooms, lip gloss, seeds, buttons, pins, thread, hair clips, ribbons, glitter, fruit or little candies. she also could fully have a frog, rocks, worms, or bugs in there. not all at once of course but ,,, sometimes ,,, she has a little critter, her whimsy knows no bounds

what’s not in allie’s pockets: id, phone, wallet. i don't know how she's still alive. please somebody hold onto these for her, be her purse.

23. What does your character dislike in other people?

" i'm the oldest of four, our parents stopped mattering when they couldn't keep us safe, and we haven't seen them since i was seven. two brothers and a sister- hugo is twenty-four, carlos is twenty-three, and inés is twenty. they're not in port leiry for a reason. it's always been my job to protect them- to protect us. inés was only an infant when we were taken- in my head, they'll always be as small as we were then. all three of them. i visit when i can, they're safe, and far away from here. but ... i don't intend on living an immortal life without them."

listen, i'm handwaving the trauma but in a world full of men that only cheat, lie, and eat hot chip ... gabe's a catch. he was raised right and had (mostly) healthy examples of love throughout his whole life. he does struggle to be vulnerable, but he doesn't view love as a weakness, just something sacred that needs to be protected.

allie is incredibly affectionate, in hopes that you shall never feel unloved by her. also, it just comes naturally. when it comes to her feelings, she’s an open book, meaning she expresses that affection freely in both her words and actions, and is fairlyy emotionally intelligent with moments of blinding wisdom sprinkled in there, or the complete opposite. she tends towards word of affirmation and physical affection than anything else as love languages.

the biggest red flag is their refusal to feel attachment to anyone or anything, they view people more as tools than friends, or even allies. everyone's replaceable, and if they mistakenly get too close to someone, vera will often try to rectify it by hurting or finding some way to cause the person harm, to put distance between them.
