Destiel au where cas is a guitarist for a really obscure band and Dean is the dumb hipster trash that only listens to songs with less than 5k hits and eventually there's a concert Dean shows up at and there are like 12 people there and the entire time no one really pays much attention to the band but deans just there with a dumb smile and about dies when cas winks at him

oh yeah, and cas can't deny he gets off a little bit on the attention. he's got no delusions of grandeur; he's fully aware that they're mostly background noise at whatever local bars will comp them a few drinks and stick up a flyer, or the occasional embarrassing high school dance. and he's fine with that, he doesn't play guitar in search of fame and fortune, he just likes it. likes his bandmates, likes the atmosphere. it's fun.

and yeah, he's only human, he likes the occasional squeal of recognition from a gaggle of teenage girls, but he's self aware to know he's at best a middle-sized fish in a tiny, tiny pond, and doesn't think too much of it.

but one night, amid the scattered applause of the indifferent patrons, knocking back shots and knocking down pool balls with equal interest, he notices somebody there watching him. and a particularly attractive somebody at that, with golden-brown hair, and green eyes he could see even through the bar-haze, and suggestions of a body that found cas' eyes dragging over it before he quite realized it himself.

he thinks for sure the guy must be checking out Anna, vivid red hair swinging as she sang into the mic, but each time he looks up, those eyes are lingering on him before snapping away, a faint flush seeping under the freckles on his cheeks.

so fuck it, cas thinks, might as well play the rock star even if he'll never be one, right? he throws an ostentatious wink, accompanied by a blatantly salacious smirk -- and the guy's eyes shoot wide, knee banging on the underside of the rickety table.

cas almost stops playing, afraid he freaked him out, especially after the guy drags over a frighteningly tall dude with long hair hanging in his eyes, nodding at the stage. the other guy blinks in his direction, then bursts out laughing, clapping Freckles on the shoulder before wandering off.

cas takes a deep breath, concentrating on his riff. when he opens his eyes, the table is empty, and he shuts down a pang of disappointment, until he sees a crumped $20 bill on top of the meager tip pile in his guitar case, accompanied by a napkin with a scrawled name and number.

the ship hate is ridiculous TBH because the people sending it no doubt ship destiel or something else and would hate for people to tell them "destiel isn't even canon so stop" why do that for other people's ships? Can't we just love everything or at the very least tolerate it? It's not that difficult to respect people.

Exactly, and I hate myself for being multi ship, seriously? What the person WINS will hate something that isn’t yours? If you don’t like it, respect. Nobody in the world will have the same opinion of anyone, it’s nice to discuss something, but never disrespect and to hate.

As long as the design is yours and original you should be able to use it? For instance if you take a photo from the Internet and edit it, that's not fair use. If you see a T Shirt you like and make one similar, that's still copyright. So you'd have to make your own design from your own head and draw it yourself (unless you're editing an image that's royalty free) u feel

Yeah, I figured that. My issue is with wanting to design fandom t-shirts, there are unofficial designs all over, but I’m not sure where the limit is. Like what stops Marvel from turning around and banning anything that remotely looks like Captain America?
