12. (Because even numbers, and I wanted to kill it.) Empathy. It’s a word most of us hear when someone talks to us about morals, etc. The moment where you place yourself in another’s place. Now, one day, you discover a person that you’ve disliked for a long time crying alone in, let’s say, a bathroom (or somewhere private). You know them, of course, and they certainly know you, for this person wasn’t exactly wonderful to you or your friends. That being said, this person is deeply troubled, and by the looks of it, he/she may in need of some help. What would you do? Be honest, I’m curious.

(/draws in a breathe before replying) Well, this is a hard one. Honestly, I think I would at least ask them, “Hey, what’s wrong?” I mean, I’m probably not gonna bend backwards to help them considering that they had to do something pretty awful to get on my blacklist. Ultimately, it comes down to how they act when I ask them what’s wrong. If they act like they’re trying to be tough like “I’m fine, fuck off,” and give me an attitude, then obviously I’m not going to even offer them a bit of help. But, if it truly seems like they’re in desperate need of help, then I’ll try to help them.

For me this is a toughie. When I hate someone, I hate someone so it’ll be hard for me to say “‘Ey, you alright?” But for me, it all depends on what they did to me to get on my blacklist. For example, if they completely and utterly betrayed my trust and that shit and hurt me to the point that my trust issues begin to worsen (because it’s happened and I still haven’t recovered from it tbh) or they did some pretty awful shit to my really close friends (/eyese Kwonji and Dae), then fuck no. They hurt me and now they know how it feels. Yeah, it sounds terrible but I honestly don’t forgive something like that so easily, considering if I decide to. But, if it’s just someone who’s personality I’m just not fond of (due to watching them interact with other people and so on), then I’ll probably ask “hey, what’s going on?” because I mean, you never know. But basically it boils down to this:

If you treat me and my friends like shit then fuck no I will not help you

If I just don’t like you for whatever other reason, then I will try to help you

But like Seunghyun said, if you give me an attitude when I try to help you, you’re on your own buddy. It sounds harsh but all of this is true.
