I'm sorry Artemis. This sounds like a difficult thing to get your head around. I know if my parents tried to tell me how to live my life from beyond the grave I would be severely irritated. There is, of course, a rather obvious solution. One that I do not believe would have been too far in the future even without my father’s meddling.

Ironically, this posthumous demand of his may have the opposite of its intended outcome. He’s tried to force the issue of marriage with his control over money because he wants me to lead a “normal” life complete with “love.”

By tying one to the other, however, he creates a potentially dangerous question: when I do marry, have I done it for love or for my family’s fortune?

My father always did have a flair to the dramatic. I feel as though I'm living in an 18th century drama.

Tempting as that offer may be, I’ll leave that to you and Juliet–though I’m sure you could recruit Beckett as a fan as well in time.

As for your cleverly-veiled invitation to visit, I would say yes were it not for the fact that certain of the People tend to get a touch defensive if I appear in or even around Haven unannounced. 

You know how I tend to avoid being intentionally antagonistic.

So Artemis, I hear there is about to be a film based on your biography. That's very exciting isn't it? I wonder who you would cast as your twelve-year-old self if you had the choice? Who would Butler, Juliet, and Holly choose for themselves too do you think? Ideally.

I know this is addressed to Artemis, but I’m here, so I’ll take a stab at it. We (my brother, Holly, and I) think it is fantastically exciting that they seem to finally be serious about making a film adaptation of the biographies. 

Artemis and I have actually discussed potential casting, and he’s always been in favor of someone like David Mazouz to play his younger self. I haven’t really talked to Holly about casting, and I honestly haven’t given it a lot of thought myself. As for my brother…again, I don’t really know. I’d like to say Zoe Saldana for Holly, but I think she’d kill me.

Hi Artemis! Ma has downloaded an app which types what I say so I can talk on the computer! Which is good cause I have an important question! if you were going into someplace scary would you rather you had my Ma with you but she's extremely cross with you or foaly who don't know how to fight? I think it would largely depend on the nature of this “scary” place. 

Were it full of technological obstacles, such as an hostile laboratory or other secured facility, Foaly’s technological prowess would be invaluable (though perhaps somewhat redundant given my own abilities). 

If the “scary” place were full of armed enemies or other generally unknown perils, I would prefer to have your mother with me. Cross or not, I doubt it would affect the likelihood of our coming out of the situation alive.

What if Opal murdered Holly and Trouble Kelp, leaving Indigo and Jasper orphans? What would you do?

If such an occasion ever arose, my first priority would be to ensure Indigo and Jasper’s safety, then to neutralize any threat Opal may pose. I will make her regret such a thoughtless act and inflict a long, terrible demise upon her person.

If, for whatever reason, a suitable living situation cannot be arranged for Holly’s children, I will allow them to live with me. I hope this adequately answers your inquiries.
