I love it when the villain song doesn’t sound like it should be a villain song. Especially when it’s a bouncy banjo folk song from a bunch of very cute forest critters. The tune is the title song- It’s Hidin’ Time. Warning the herd of a beast known as ‘the Beartaur and to be wary since it’s spring time and that means the beartaur will be out and about causing problems. I’m sure that won’t come up later!
I really liked Horse’s facial expressions during this song. Every time she thinks she’s used to the way this world loves it’s songs, some new tune pops up totally without warning and she’s forced to just stand there and listen as it happens all over again. Delightful.
