I'm losing my fucking mind and I wish I was dead but I can't message her because I don't want to bother her

The reaction I get to telling medical/allied health professionals I can't drive because of my illness is genuinely alarming?! They invariably assume I crashed and had my license taken away. Like they assume I experienced the dangerous symptoms, kept driving for a while, and eventually caused a life threatening situation for myself and others. APPARENTLY this is the most common scenario because when I correct them by sharing that I was simply RESPONSIBLE and STOPPED DRIVING WHEN IT WAS NO LONGER SAFE they are shocked and impressed. Makes me never wanna get in a car again holy moly
doing the ‘solution’ to a problem that has been causing me a bunch of guilt but it actually just unlocks a bigger and even more complex level of guilt
