Day in Fandom History: August 13…

Mordecai, Rigby, Margaret, and Eileen go to an abandoned zoo for a late-night out to see if Rigby's story about an infamous "death bear" is true or not, and take a picture outside of its cage. “Death Bear” premiered on this day, 13 Years Ago.

I like to take this as confirmation that Tanked set up this whole thing-

And it just makes me giggle and kick my feet so hard. I love how Tanked’s shipping them and Gimp is like “I’m not pleased with psychical contact but who could say no to that face?” They are actually so cute I love them. I love how they started hanging out together a lot more often after and would sit next to each other.

They everything to me.

TETOCU Episode Idea #8

(Inspired by the Regular Show episode “Death Bear”)

Piqua has a lake just outside of the town, and the lake has a sea monster.

At least, that’s what the legend says.

The legend says that there used to be a carnival next to the lake and it was open all throughout the year except winter, and in the summer the carnival would have activities and a ride or two in the lake.

But one day, a carnival goer claimed he saw areally big shadow moving just beneath the lake’s surface. No one believed him until other people started to claim to see something similar. It attracted a lot of people to the carnival who wanted to capture glimpses of the monster who was nicknamed Bessie.

It attracted people until the town woke up one morning to discover that the carnival had been attacked by a really big animal, and that it’d been partly destroyed. Everyone said it was Bessie getting revenge on the carnival for disturbing her and the carnival was never reopened due to fear of her returning.

George and Harold hear this legend from their moms and are IMMEDIATELY intrigued. They talk about it at school with their friends who are also intrigued and they all believe that Bessie is real.

Melvin, however, does not; and says that it was just a publicity stunt by the carnival.

Of course George and Harold don’t buy it, and make a bet with him; the bet being that the three of them go to the remains of the old carnival at 10:00 pm to look for Bessie, and if they don’t find her before five hours pass, then the two of them would agree with him and say she’s not real. Melvin agrees and tells them to talk to him more in class about a meet up time.

Night time eventually comes and the boys meet outside Melvin’s house before making their way to the carnival remains in a big rideable cat robot with night vision (and maybe they have a musical number along the way cause that sounds awesome and the show needs more MLP-style musical numbers).

When they get there they first look around at the spooky abandoned carnival (just imagine a damaged rusty ferris wheel and old stuffed animals scattered everywhere and wherever else comes to mind; sounds cool right?) and then go down to the edge of the lake to look for Bessie.

Four hours pass and Melvin is about to give up, but George and Harold are like “no there’s still an hour left” and Melvin’s “I don’t care Bessie’s not real now can we please go home” but then Bessie frEAKING APPEARS BEHIND HIM AND HE DOESN’T NOTICE CAUSE CARTOON LOGIC. George and Harold DO notice and as they stare up at her wide-eyed one of them snaps a picture with their phone and when they show it to Melvin, the picture is of him looking confused with Bessie’s head showing behind him. He turns around slowly which is a terrible idea but he does it anyway.

She roars or something, they scream, George or Harold takes one more picture, then she goes in to attack them but someone comes in and makes her go back in the water.

Turns out it was Gaylord and he followed the boys after they snuck away and boy is he not happy that they did that. Mostly Melvin tho cause he’s his son. Anyway, they’re really happy that he saved them, but he still grounds Melvin for sneaking out and making him worried, to which Melvin apologizes and he is forgiven. Then the boys are taken home and they go back to sleep and tell their friends all about their adventure the best day. The End.

I got kinda lazy towards the end but it’s 1 am where I am and I’m tired so yeah enjoy this :P
