Based on this post haha
By the way Swindle’s dumb ass doesn’t really know that mysterious “conjunx” is him. He’s somewhere in between “oh fuck it COULD be me” and “Blurr was in love with someone” because. It’s Blurr haha. He had a lot of mechs and fans hanging around all the time~
I don’t know what I’m doing I have no idea what Cybertronian internals look like kemfnfbfj
Anyway
Swindle’s height gives him that perfect angle of view
Wait….wait. Death loop blurr. Is he also waking up in a new frame for every new universe? He probably would be, wouldn’t he?
So not just doomed to be a repeating plot point. Doomed to die. Doomed to nobody else remembering — knowing who he is or being able to see what’s happening to him (at least as far as he would know at the beginning). But also, doomed to always waking up in a different body. Having to get familiar again and again with the mechanics of movement each time.
(And would he forget? Would there be times where he would think he could do something because a previous body could? Are there times when he’d feel those old limbs still even though they are no longer there?)
Blurr initially getting comfortable in each frame — considering it his own. Only to realize that even that small familiarity always gets ripped away, gets lost with everything else.
Only the narrative — the role he’s expected to play — remains constant.
YES YES YES The body would almost always be different! Imagine going from blocky squary frame of G1 to being built like a freaking twig in Animated?
Luckly he is fast when it comes to learning and processing stuff but that still means he gets the “WHAT THE FUCK??” moment every time he wakes up in a new universe
Blurr: looking at himself in Animated universe
Blurr: ah well bots in that universe look weird and could very much use some armour. At least I look cute
(Goes outside and realises half of the other bots are two times bigger than him and basically all the Decepticons are FOUR times bigger than him
Blurr: THE FUCK???
Bonus points if he makes new friends and perhaps finds lovers in those different universes. And then he has no choice but forget them because there’s no way to ever see them again.
Yes I know he doesn’t die in Armada canon. I just wanted to include Armada. It’s an AU and I have an authorised permission to kill armada!Blurr I checked with the local authorities
So, if Blurr thought Swindle broke the loop, do you think he became more open to forming strong connections with people because, hey, it's not like he has to worry about being plopped into a new world where the people he loves are different don't know him anymore, right?
I ask because. Him and Swindle are on opposite sides in like, every continuity. And they usually don't even interact at all. And I just keep thinking about Blurr knowing this and growing closer to him anyway because he believes he'll never have to worry about the emotional fallout of loving someone who's a stranger, his enemy and a conman who cares for nothing but money and himself in basically every world.
And he let's himself let go of his reservations about truly connecting with people and then, bam–he's dead again and this person he's come to love is a hostile stranger, just like he was always meant to be and always has been, and at the end of the day, is there anyone to blame for it but himself? He should have expected this. He should have been prepared. It's even worse since he thought Swindle was the one to break the loop in the first place and even told him about it
Oh yes absolutely he would.
He would think that by saving him Swindle broke the loop and he would be soooo ready to build something new and somewhat permanent in his life FINALLY
He would hang out with Windblade and Ironhide and Knockout and Jazz and Wreckers probably
He would also give Swindle A LOT of free drinks hahah. Which is. A big factor☝ in earning Swindle's friendship
I don't really have a clear timeline for all the universes he gets to visit but let's just imagine it's some kind of Animated AU:)
And yes. 99% of time Swindle would be on the enemy side. Which is....ouch
