A concept because I haven’t posted in so long-

The season 2 ending but Oliver and Slade run off to Corto Maltese together.

They’re super aggressive towards each other but they’re also super domestic so it’s like they’re an old married couple or something

Slade is pissed 24/7 until the mirakuru wears off all the way but he never leaves (even though our sweet precious and considerate Oliver has given him plenty opportunity to go if the other didn’t want to stay) so Slade will call Oliver out on anything like the shirt Queen is wearing or days where Oliver gets back to their little house with groceries and yeah sure Slade is helping but he’s criticizing everything Oliver bought.

Over time though it would turn into grumbling and more about security rather than dumb stuff and Oliver begins to keep a more watchful eye on the other man because he notices one day that Slade is going from a raging hell fire to just looking tired and worn out a lot more often.

And then one day Oliver realizes that somehow it feels like they’re on the island again and the second he realizes it is when Slade is pretty much kicking him out of their shared bed because Oliver has slept too long and Slade looks like he’s already done with his day (it’s only noon though and in Oliver’s defense he’s been taking care of the other and putting up with his bitchiness for quite a while now)
