(( honestly. That's why I've started to write my characters older. I've still got youngins but older people are even better to write because they're set in their ways and change at an older age is harder and complex to write.))
For real! It adds so much complexity to a character when their age is higher, plus it gives room for less cliche ‘This terrible stuff turned me into who I am today!’ and more ‘I have decades of experience that taught me so much and makes it even more difficult to make me understand how I might be wrong’ and it’s SO MUCH MORE REWARDING WHEN CHANGE HAPPENS ESPECIALLY IN ANY KIND OF RELATIONSHIP??? FRIENDSHIP INCLUDED???
