awww sad day. can you get the screen repaired? I’ve heard you can order them from Amazon for cheaps, and find a youtube vid to fix it yourself if you like. ^__^

I contacted a friend who does apple product repairs and hopefully I'll get a quote by tomorrow so I can decide whether it's worth it to get it repaired, or just get a new phone

You didn't know about those?

I knew. I mentioned that in the tags. I used to know about them long before pringles!khan, but forgot all about them and rediscovered their existence today.

I usually continue a post in the tags if there's additional info that's less important and/or might make the main post boring. Kind of like a "read more" but in quick tags. So usually if there's more to something I said in a post but it's not as important, it goes there.
