「 ★ 」   ⋮   Ｖ Ｉ Ｃ Ｔ Ｉ Ｍ ．   ⋮  ━━There   was   not   a   single   question   about   it.   All   his   life,   the   poor   child   had   been   just   so   close   to   DEATH;   the   fear   of   it   constantly   lingering   in   his   mind.   His   friends,   his   sister,   his   mommy   ...   and   with   those   monsters   always   chasing   him   down   ...   he   knew   that   one   day,   his   own   time   would   come   soon.

               All   he   remembers   is   TEETH   ...

              He's   so   dazed   that   he   nearly   forgets   he   asked   a   QUESTION   and   he   stares   up   at   the   woman.   There   is   something   in   her   arms   ...   a   person   ?   A   GLOWING   person   ?   Surely,   this   was   another   one   of   his   '   hallucinations   '   as   big   brother   called   it   ...   but   she   said   it   was   all   real.   What   was   he   to   believe   ?   

              His   head   hurts   ...   no,   it   doesn't   just   hurt.   His   head   was   THROBBING;   as   if   something   was   sinking,   digging   deep   past   the   skull   and   into   the   brain.   A   small   whine   leaves   his   breath   and   he   winces   ...   but   he   does   his   best   to   shake   it   off   and   try   to   get   answers.

              A   hand   more   pale   and   ghastly   than   usual   points   at   the   glowing   entity   in   the   woman's   arms.   She   was   going   to   have   to   answer   MORE   questions.

The light hurt, a painful headache already having built before Blythe even opened her eyes. She kept them squeezed shut, even as she pushed back the blankets and rose on unsteady feet. She opened them to slits in order to close the curtains, and it was only then everything came flooding back.

She’d gotten really drunk in a bar. That much she remembered for certain, if the pounding headache was any clue. And then she’d met this girl. This beautiful, smart, absolutely astounding girl and then they’d gone back to Blythe’s apartment. Judging by the naked girl still in her bed, they’d had sex.

Blythe decided the best thing to do was go to the kitchen and try to put together something edible for both of them. Starting with a hot cup of coffee each.

But if you say no and STILL make them go with you, wouldn’t that be the SAME as killing ? Most people don’t LIKE death ! ‘
