What made you ship it?
Funny enough the moment where Lan Wangji is drunk and gets jealous of Wen Ning. I was like 'Oh so he recognizes that Wen Ning and Wei Wuxian have a connection.' And then my gremlin brain was like 'Let's solve this with poly!' Also on rewatch realizing that the song Wei Wuxian plays for Wen Ning is Wangxian how can I not ship it?
What are your favorite things about the ship?
The amount of devotion in it. Both Lan Wangji and Wen Ning are so devoted to protecting Wei Wuxian. Also I love how the fan community agrees that Wen Ning deserves nice things including 2 boyfriends.
Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?
I need more slow burn Lan Wangji and Wen Ning in my life. I need that slow transition from 'I suppose you can stay because you care about Wei Wuxian.' to 'I need you to stay.'
What made you ship it?
When I was younger and watching this show for the first time I was very into the happy ray of sunshine/grumpy goth trope (To be fair I never grew out of loving that trope) so this ship appealed to me a lot. And then there was the moment that Ty Lee attacked Azula and I was like "Okay sure when Mai does that it's love for Zuko. When Ty Lee does the same it's because her and Mai are just really good pals. Right."
What are your favorite things about the ship?
Just everything about them. They are so many things I love friends to lovers, protective, they work well together.
Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?
I think Mai would be a bit more possessive than people tend to write her. I have always interpreted her jab about Ty Lee having 10 boyfriends as her being jealous of those boys.
songxuexiao? mianqing? zhuiyi? <3<3<3 (okay that's all from mdzs... probably)
Gifs hate me right now so I'll just be posting the ship and my thoughts.
Songxuexiao
What made you ship it?
Frankly fan creations are to blame for this. I used to be more of a straight up songxiao shipper but would run into songxuexiao art and fics and just kind of grew to like it more and more.
What are your favorite things about the ship?
The smut fics. The tragedy of it all. I have rewatched the untamed twice since getting into The untamed and I'm always hoping for a good ending and become sad when I don't get it.
Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?
Not that I can really think of.
Mianqing
What made you ship it?
I'm gay and these two are hot. But in seriousness that moment that Mian Mian stood up to her clan made me like her a lot.
What are your favorite things about the ship?
Usually shippers seem to be in favor of Wen Qing getting a happy ending. Love that her happy ending is getting a girlfriend/wife.
Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?
I don't think this ship is popular enough to have many opinions on sadly. I guess liking this more than some other Wen Qing ships is my unpopular opinion.
Zhuiyi (Hell yeah the ship that lead me to wagbfm!)
What made you ship it?
This piece of fanart. I was just looking for things about Lan Sizhui growing up in the burial mounds and found that and have shipped it since.
What are your favorite things about the ship?
They are just so soft and cute.
Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?
Lan Sizhui tops.
trephacard+greta? (i'm just gonna keep bothering you with these unless you want me to shut up <3)
Feel free to bother as much as you'd like <3
What made you ship it?
Pretty much had me won while they were exploring The Belmont Hold. This post sums it up pretty well And then with Greta having chemistry with Alucard it made sense for her to be included in the poly pile.
What are your favorite things about the ship?
Again the sass. But also we love a polycue that can fight side by side and protect each other.
Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?
I'll admit I don't interact enough to really have any ideas on what's popular or not. But I do heavily headcanon Alucard to be demi and that this is his first serious relationship so sexual attraction for him is new.
also just whatever your favorite ship is rn, and whatever your biggest notp is?
Favorite ship: Zelink
Zelink
What made you ship it?
Oh goodness I think I started shipping it back when I first played OoT because of Link trying to protect Zelda from Ganondorf when they were just kids. I've always been a sucker for the knight/royalty thing and I entirely blame that on these two.
What are your favorite things about the ship?
*chanting* reincarnating soulmates.
Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?
I don't think that Zelda and Link end up in a romantic relationship in every universe. I think there is always some form of caring and love between them but that doesn't necessarily mean they have to be romantic.
NOTP: Yustelle (And what I'm about to say only applies to me. No one get on my ass about this)
Why don’t you ship it?
The legend about how Brave Vesperia became a star. The whole fact it is obviously a comparison to Estelle (The child of the moon) and Yuri and it's a story about a brother protecting his sister. No thank you.
What would have made you like it?
I mean if they had left out that story then probably or if the story had been referred to lovers rather than a brother and sister I might be able to get behind it. I do really like Fluri and Yudith for Yuri and Ristelle for Estelle though. So honestly hard to say.
Despite not shipping it, do you have anything positive to say about it?
They are my ultimate Brotp. I can definitely understand why people do ship them and I have nothing against the ship itself. I just see their relationship as found family siblings. (I have two ocs loosely inspired by these two who are half siblings so yeah....)
(Sorry for the late response! I had to wait till I had access to my computer with all of my docs on it again!)
Ayla’s gaze turned up at the looming statue. It was a monument to everything she could, should, be. As she stared up at Evelyn’s face Ayla wondered what her predecessor would think of her. Would she be ashamed knowing the first goddess reborn after her lacked any power? What would Evelyn have done differently if she had known there would be a thousand years between herself and her successor?
“You crashed my ship!”
“Technically I managed to land a severely damaged ship without killing either of us. You’re welcome for that,” Tal replied dryly.
“How can I help?” Eira asked, putting on her best customer service voice.
“I was looking for Eira, many people have said she’s the best technician in this area. Would she happen to be around?” the young man asked, glancing around the shop.
“Yeah you’re looking at her.”
His gaze returned to her instantly and he gave a small bow. “I apologize. I just assumed from the way people spoke of your experience that you would be older.”
Eira gave a snort. “Most people do. Now that we have that figured out, how can I help you?”
⏳ - What books have inspired your writing the most?
Lord of the Rings: It is one of the most influential fantasy books and I believe that all fantasy writers should read it. I love how Tolkien's world feels like it has an ancient history and how that gets weaved into the story.
The Kingkiller Chronicles: I have realized if I'm going to write a series I better have a draft of all the books done first because of the wait for book three. Also I think Kvothe is a fun character study.
The Last Unicorn: This is the book that made me want to be a writer so I have to put it on here. I actually am rereading this since one my characters is a beast that was turned human.
Anything by Neon Yang: I just love the way their 'narrator voice' sounds in all their books and I plan on going back and taking notes next time I read their books.
🐚 - What’s the best thing to get you in the mood for writing?
Music which is why I joke that I have 5 million emotional support playlist.
🌙 - How often do you write?
I try to write daily. I'm a big fan of Terry Pratchett's way of writing (400 words daily) Though sometimes I spend weeks writing unconnected scenes and then have to figure out how to connect them together
oooh! i want to know about ALL of them!! but that seems unreasonable so i'll just ask you about Metahuman Initiative? (this is gravitywonagain, btw, just my main blog <3)
Thanks for asking! Just to warn you MI is till in the rough WIP stages.
Aiden has spent his entire life pretending to be normal, doing what he can to suppress his pyrokinetic abilities. However, when agents come after him and his mother all those restraints are quickly broken. This attracts the attention of a telepath named Tristan.
Tristan reveals that this company is responsible for the project known as The Metahuman Initiative. The company experimented on people, eventually leading to the first of the metahumans. This team is now responsible for capturing the children of the first group of metahumans, at least the ones who inherited powers from their parents.
There are two options for Aiden; running and praying that he's never caught or learning to control his powers to fight back. With the help of his new friends, Aiden is determined to end this once and for all.

And a soft moment with the boys under the cut.
“You could have woken one of us up to take over.”
Aiden doesn’t even face Tristan as he responds with a shrug. “I’m not tired.” It’s half true. While he feels drained enough not to travel his mind insists on being wide awake.
Tristan settled next to Aiden near the edge of the roof. He was huddled in his jean jacket, puffs of smoke leaving his lips as he watched the snow fluttering around them. Tristan looked so distant, so lost in thought, that Aiden wished they could switch abilities. At least long enough for him to figure out what's going on in Tristan's head.
"I was thinking about how quiet it would be if I didn't have to hear you yapping in my head." There was no bite behind the words.
"No one told you to listen to my thoughts," Aiden replied.
"Hard not to when it's just us."
Aiden hummed in agreement. His attention was focused on Tristan's shuddering breaths, the way he trembled against the icy cold winds. Without thinking about it Aiden wrapped his arm around Tristan.
"What are you doing?" Tristan tried to pull away but Aiden stubbornly pulled him back.
"Trying to be nice. I know that's a foreign concept to you."
Tristan snorted in response but said nothing. His head rested in the nook of Aiden's neck.
