The nightmares are a constant, for both of them.     After everything they’ve seen, everything they’ve done – everything they’ve had done to them – how can they not be?     They can keep each other safe in daylight,   most of the time,   but the nights bring monsters neither of them can fight for each other.

          Still, that doesn’t mean Clarke won’t try…     So when Kateri cries out,           shooting up from whatever dream had awoken her, Clarke is there, a           hand coming out to rub her back gently.     “ Hey, it’s okay. ” Her voice “          is quiet, as soothing as she can make it.     “ You’re OKAY.     It was           another dream. ”
