When Andromeda has a verbal fight with someone, it’s not to make the other person feel bad; she has a motive. Her motive is never sadism. Her motives may be selfish, her motive may be that an argument is unavoidable, or her motive may be her own stubbornness. She can be overly critical, but she doesn’t think she is. She simply thinks she’s giving valuable advice, or that if she scorns someone for doing something foolish it’s because they won’t do it again. Sometimes, she’ll insult another person if she thinks it will make them leave her alone; but this is defensive and borne from fear, and never offensive. ( Offensive here meaning to attack. She’s quite offensive, meaning vulgar, but that’s just a general thing, not a ‘fight’ thing. )It’s very easy to tell when she begins to feel comfortable with you: she’ll start arguing with you. Fighting is different, to her, than arguing. Arguing is fun. Arguing is child’s play with words and is her favourite hobby to do with her voice. Arguably.
