Deathmachines 01 by Nthmetal Justice Via Flickr: We advance carefully in Trobriand's Graveyard and come upon machine tending to what actually looks like a graveyard.
Deathmachines 02 by Nthmetal Justice Via Flickr: Halldór and Pikka go in first. The situation doesn't appear to be hostile.
Deathmachines 03 by Nthmetal Justice Via Flickr: "These are the graves of old dwarven heroes, and I am here to tend to them," the machine tells us. The tombstones are decorated with old dwarven runes. Somehow all this doesn't seem like it is actually part of Trobriand's Graveyard, but maybe this is the foundation he built his keep on. Maybe, back in the past he even used the souls of the fallen dwarves to power his machines.
Deathmachines 04 by Nthmetal Justice Via Flickr: There is one exceptionally impressive crypt built into this hall.
Deathmachines 05 by Nthmetal Justice Via Flickr: "Ah, you will be the new dwarven king. Maybe. One day." The machine doesn't really accept Halldór's de-facto status, but of course he is right: Halldór didn't unite the dwarven families yet.
"The old king and hiw bravest men lie here. They fell in the war against the drow, who wished to control the energy source deep under the mountain." We have heard this tale already.
Deathmachines 06 by Nthmetal Justice Via Flickr: Halldór replies "I wish to visit the old king who lies here. Which one is his grave?" "You are to be the new king, you should know."
And Halldór approaches the most impressive tomb of them all. How else would a king lie buried?
