DeathNote 30 Day Challenge: Day 30 (Ending... WHY.)

What comes after Death Note? Your anime/manga recommendation with Death Note in mind.

Of course Death Note. It was just so good. How could you not recommend it?

Let's see... I love Fairy Tail. You have to have a certain taste to really enjoy it, though. 

  Soul Eater is another one of my LOVES. It's just so creative and different.

  Full Metal Alchemist and Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood. I can't recommend it officially b/c I haven't really started it, but I've only heard wonderful things.

Zetman was okay, too. It's kinda like Death Note in certain aspects.

DeathNote 30 Day Challenge: Day 29

If you picked up a true Death Note, would you use it? For what end? 

No. Definitely not.

If one of those things landed in front of me, I would pick it up, but only to return it to the careless Shinigami who dropped it.

I strongly disagree with the idea of killing other people, especially like that.

Everyone is flawed, is messed up, does bad things, so who says that one person should have the ability to judge or condemn based on their beliefs of what good and evil are?

Light went insane with the power that came with the Death Note. He used and killed so many people and it was sickening to watch him fall like that, especially when he had such a promising future.

No. I would never.

DeathNote 30 Day Challenge: Day 28

L vs. Light (Take your side. Why take that side)

L. No brainer. 

I understand what Light was trying to do with the Death Note. I understand his drive to purge the world of "evil" people, but there are so many flaws to his logic.

1) Who says what evil is? It's a matter of perspective, really. Of course, there are some things that are just plain evil, but some find evil as absolute, some find it in degrees, some find everything to be evil.

2) Criminals aren't the only bad people on earth, well known ones. He was pretty much only purging ones on the news, but there are horrible people out there every day who are completely unknown. How do you get rid of them?

3) Who gave man the right to judge others? I know we do it every day. I'm guilty of it myself, to be honest, but who would really go and try to kill everyone they deemed worthy of death? Plus, Light is just as flawed at the people he killed, so why is he worthy of the title of "God?"

How to Use V:

3)The human who becomes the owner of the Death Note can, in exchange for half of his/her remaining life, get the eyes of the Shinigami which will enable him/her to see a human's name and remaining life span when they look thought them.  

I just think that's really cool, even though it was used for awful reasons.

I'm gonna be REALLY stereotypical here (of myself. lol) and say L's theme (A) :) It's the classic Death Note song, and the best to me, besides Light's theme

The best L tactic

L has the best tactics, even though they might appear to be brash or just plain idiotic.

His BEST tactic.... 

I loved that he inserted himself into Light's college environment. It's not only a great way to get to know Light and to keep an eye on him, but it also shows L's dedication to the Kira case.
