I want to properly answer it with character designs, but for now-

Death (Omens Mother) role in the story has changed into being the Big Bad Guy. As the Arch Fae of the Court of Death she knows how everyone both in the fae and mortal realm will die. except! her own. The Court of Knowledge knows when she dies. Deaths goal is to become a force that this secretive and elusive Court can’t ignore.

as for the other death omens/ reapers there is 4 Grim Reapers, each a representation of a death omen. They also work directly under Death.

The main one and who I imagine as like a 1st boss for this video game idea is Sorrow the Grim Wolf. Sorrow was Omens surrogate father figure and defeating him opens up the rest of the game and introduces the main objective.

To show support for Omen and their friends he also introduces collecting souls since all of the other Grim Reapers are busy for Reasons (trying to hunt down Omen). Omen can trade in these souls for magical items or equipment upgrades from the fae realm. He opens up a magic item shop and gets to be more like a father to Omen
