Is your muse an optimist or pessimist and how does this influence their choices? What are your muse’s thoughts on race? Are they biased/racist? Are they aware of discrimination; do they participate in it or do they ignore it? Are they discriminated against? Are they addicted to anything at all? Do they crave something when they haven’t had it in a while? Has this ever endangered them or others?

What are your muse’s thoughts on race? Are they biased/racist? Are they aware of discrimination; do they participate in it or do they ignore it? Are they discriminated against?
In DA verse: Being from Tevinter and growing up with very little contact with elves outside of his families slaves, causing him to hold heavy bias towards them. During his time in the south this does lessen over time. Qunari on the other side: he sees them as brainwashed brutes. Orlesian’s he sees as being stuck up but not actually that different from people of his own country. People from Ferelden and the Free-marches... to him they’re filthy and closed minded. In DA he thinks that your race can heavily influence your abilities.
In Fallout verse: James actively distances himself from the people above ground. Branding them all ‘wastelanders’, assuming them all to be ignorant and having limited education if any at all. Unlike in DA he’s not so harsh about this. He simply knows it’s been a difference in opportunity. This often results in him displaying various levels of condescending compassion. In return, I can imagine some people, on finding he’s from the Institute (or assuming he’s from a vault) will treat him differently in accordance to that. Though he doesn’t mind many of the assumptions that come with that.
Modern verse: In modern verse James sees race as a collective of physical traits that can effect how people treat one another, and also how genetically prone particular people may be to particular genetic diseases from the medical standpoint. Given his skin colour and some other physical traits I feel that, unfortunately, he would end up finding himself on the receiving end of various levels of discrimination. He does move around a lot in modern so I reckon they’d definitely be places where he’d face worse discrimination than others... and when you’re the one facing it it’s hard to ignore.
Are they addicted to anything at all? Do they crave something when they haven’t had it in a while? Has this ever endangered them or others?
Only in Fallout, in his fallout verse he has a ‘mild’ addiction to med-x. With a long pain tolerance he ends up happy to just at the chance to use the painkiller. This addiction developed after a few years into living outside the Institute and he does his best to keep it under control. He knows the health risks. He knows it’s an addiction.
It’s worse in V6-22 & his human body so as H4-78 he does keep track of the intake of his other bodies. So, in a way, he does end up overcoming the addiction regularly... then just ends up addicted again the next time he gets injured or really angry at a patient he’s just had and he decides it’s worth it to calm down. It’s not the best cycle. It’s never actually put him in danger though. Patients on the other hand...
