Cosmos!

Why I like them: I like that Cosmos is, to me, one of the most realistic–realistic being he is disillusioned by this point in time, questions the authority and reasoning of his superiors. Why I don’t: I wish he was in more issues ;-;Favorite episode (scene if movie): EXRID #43!!! Favorite season/movie: Definitely IDW/exrid. I don’t remember him much in G1 to be honest… Favorite line: “I think the real danger is being ignored to death.”Favorite outfit: His usual one, minus the stealth paint thing.OTP: Soundwave/Cosmos <3Brotp: Cosmos & D.O.C. or Cosmos and the cassettesHead Canon: Sometimes Cosmos forgets he got upgraded, and moves like he’s much smaller than he actually is: he tries to squeeze past people in the halls and accidentally knocks them over, shoves someone when he’s angry and they go flying, etc. Unpopular opinion: Cosmos isn’t an awestruck, innocent, cute little pushover. He’s got an attitude! (side note: Cosmos also doesn’t ‘mewl’. No one mewls. We’re not writing about cats, here. That’s my current #1 pet peeve. I mean, write what you want, but. Writing mewls/mewling/mewled is just gonna make me think CAT.)A wish: I wish Cosmos would ditch the Autobots and go live with Soundwave on Sanctuary Station. Right now I’m all about IDW Soundwave/Cosmos, and to a lesser extent TFP Soundwave/Shockwave. 

K - What character has your favorite development arc/the best development arc?

HMM. I’d say IDW Soundwave’s arc, but lately it’s just been kinda...meh to me recently. One of my favorite development arcs is the ones in tyran, specifically Optimus Prime. I also like Skinner’s development throughout the series + his relationship development with Mulder and Scully.

S - Show us an example of your personal headcanon (prompts optional but encouraged)

I firmly believe that tyran!Laserbeak is an awful, awful gossip (more than just being, y’know a spy). He enjoys putting nonessential information in his reports to Soundwave like “Beverly wore the blue shirt again today. She probably had a bad date. She’s fighting with her manager to get a new coffee machine. Her favorite drink is the espresso. Oh yeah, Sam just got hired.”  

T - Do you have any hard and fast headcanons that you will die defending

I am absolutely committed to this headcanon by @radioactivepeasant. tl;dr it’s about Thundercracker, dogs, and movies.

TFP Starscream

My first impressions of them.

*me, doing my homework like a productive student while listening to the premier of TFP*:

“Starscream is literally talking to himself. This is so stupid. Stupider than Optimus Prime and his egg-shaped mouth. Why would you have Starscream monologue to himself. Aren’t there other people on this ship he can talk to?”

When I finally sat down and watched the show I realized he’d been talking to Soundwave who...just never talked back.

What I think of their role in the story.

I think...that as of 24 October 2016, if you have not watched the RID 2015 special Starscream serves as an example of what literally became of all the Decepticons. Which, once his purpose was served he was just kind of dumped by the wayside and forgotten?

What I think of their interactions with other characters.

A couple years ago (probably like 3+ years ago...lol...) wrote about how Starscream and Soundwave rarely have an antagonistic relationship, especially in the early parts of the first season. Soundwave is just present, and Starscream works around him, and still manages to get things done despite him.

My favorite aspect of the character overall.

Starscream’s interactions with other characters is my fave. He has a tendency to bring out (usually the worst in people) sides to characters the audience never really sees, like extremes in personality, and you find him being a little more relatable than you thought, upon careful rewatching. 

What could have been improved or changed with regards to the character. / My number one wish for this character.

He needs to do something about his eyes. I...don’t like them, and I’m not even sure why? That’s such a shallow answer but it’s the first thing that came to mind.

And having a pal to actually respect him would be nice too.

Favorite Male Character: Steven! He’s so kind an pure I wish I’d had a friend like him when I was a kid.Favorite Female Character: Lapis when I’m feeling down, Peridot when I’m not. Least Favorite Character: Marty probably.Favorite Ship: Garnet?? Favorite Friendship: Steven and Connie gives me life tbh.Favorite Quote: “You suffer because it's what you deserve! We all only get what we deserve.” or “This...is Mom Universe. Yes. The children are playing swords. Sorry—playing with swords. They're bleeding. Oh no, they are dead. Don't call again.”Worst Character Death (if any): Bismuth being poofed was pretty disturbing. That whole ep made me really sad. This made me so happy you have no idea Moment: The entire episode called “Hit the Diamond”. Saddest Moment: The ending of “Bubbled” and “Lion 3: Straight to Video”.Favorite Location: The barn and the temple. specifically Steven’s little spaces (where he has his kitchen and his TV).

The question is when she chooses a side at the end who is going to totally turn on her

It’s looking more and more like she might side with the templars so that should appease Aveline, Fenris, and Sebastian. Merrill won’t be pleased -- but she has full friendship and is the LI so I think she hangs around regardless.

Early Rom is like. Not who he ends up being. So like, be gentle with early Rom because it’s not really Rom, Rom is actually sweet and gentle and nothing at all like the first two seasons

I’m so amazed with how much he’s changed in this season (3), especially with Nog applying to Starfleet!
