May I ask for 32 Kaguya/ Sakura? I know strange but the other day I was reading one shots and there was a one that got me hook line and sinker. If you could please and thank you!
I think this is from Prompt list A.
32: “Don’t you dare touch him/her/them”
Before Tenji, before her fleeting her collasping world, Kaguya had held out for meeting her soulmate. Her soulmate has a scrawl that none of her siblings had ever seen before and when she fleets her world in a cocoon and lands on the new strange land, she realises that it must have been fate. That she was fated to be the only one of her world to survive.
Survival becomes her priority in the merciless land and as time goes by, Kaguya thinks that maybe she was never fated to meet her soulmate. She marries Tenji for the sake of survival, and she puts on the veil and Masayujiro Kaguya becomes Otsutsuki Kaguya.
Otsutsuki Tenji, though not a cruel man, is a typical man born in a man’s world. Kaguya realises that she is just a woman in Tenji’s eyes, someone to bear his children. Not to love, not to cherish. She is not Tenji’s soulmate. Tenji’s soulmate is a man of his council and someone that he can never publically love.
She kills her love and dreams to survive.
And then she is never the same again.
It’s on the barren plains that Kaguya sees the pink haired girl. Women on the battlefield. How time has changed, she thinks. Kaguya wishes she could have been there when time changed for women. She remembers the cold rooms, she remembers Tenji’s cold response to her. She remembers that she was nothing but a woman then.
It’s not a Man’s world anymore, Zetsu whispers to her.
Kaguya is proud. Proud that women have progressed this far. Would Men remember that she is too was once a warrior of her race? She throws her jutsu out, reminding of these silly Men.
Then the pink haired girl screams at her as Kaguya is batting the blond boy away, “Don’t you dare touch him!”
The words that had been seared in her skin since birth, the words that the pink haired girl has said to her. Kaguya stops in her rampage and stares at the girl.
“Where have you been? I’ve been waiting for you for so long,” she tells the girl.
And the love and dreams that she killed an eon ago, blooms again.
