Cool Music Monday - "Ejecta" by Death Vessel
This week on Cool Music Monday features an incredible voice, and story like lyrics. It's true, Joel Thibodeau has an almost angelic like voice. It's really smooth, and it along with the lyrics seem to paint the picture of each song really well.
The kicker with Desth Vessel is you could either be weirded out, or fall deeply in love. It's not in the middle. I say this because you're hear Joel's voice, and wonder how it's humanly possible to sound like he does. He doesn't sound like a man, nor a boy, not even a girl. Honestly, I'm not sure I can describe his voice. So before I turn this into something it's not, why don't you go ahead and listen.
Today, I'm recommending you check out "Ejecta" from his 2014 album "Island Intervals". I think after listening to this, your feelings of Death Vessel may fall on the side of love. As I said earlier, with Joel's voice singing those lyrics paint such a vivid picture, you really forget where you are. I feel like I'm on a boat. Whatever, I will spare you my nerd. Yes, my nerd.
Ok, enough is enough. Time to listen. Please check out Death Vessel's "Ejecta". I'll post some more cool songs throughout the week, but don't feel like you've got to wait for me. Check all of them out. I enjoyed the entire album so much that it's vaulted to the vinyl buy list. I hope to get to my logic behind that someday but for the meantime just trust me.

Purple Ivy Shadows and Death Vessel were a thrill last night at the Columbus Theater. Sat next to Joel's family and they made the show even more special. Highly recommend you sit next to Team Thibodeau whenever you see Death Vessel, if at all possible.
