This the desk of one of my friend. Enjoy!
I definitely enjoyed trying to deduce the submitter! This is my first attempt at doing so, and I’d love to do it again.
Even though the stylus is to the left, the pen on the right says you’re right handed. Angle suggests it wasn’t placed there on purpose.
Wacom tablet is in good shape, though it’s now outdated. This would say you’re serious about your art given the care and expense of the product, but it’s not a career as you haven’t purchased a newer model that would give you more options for your work. This would be an unlikely gift (again, the expense), and to be able to afford it you would need a job that pays over minimum wage, which suggests you’re in your mid to late twenties and know how to manage your finances.
The headphones indicate gaming, though the lack of games around the computer suggests a separate console despite the location of the headphones.
The quality and age of your electronics says you’re contentious about your purchases. You put quality and function over price and bypass newer models, only replacing what you have when it no longer works.
Given the attention and therefore the time spent on your art, the tablets lack of portability, and lack of ashtray, you’re a non-smoker. It’s unlikely you would take the time away from the piece for a cigarette break.
Marks from natural oils on keyboard says you’re frequent computer user, though the glare from the lamp makes it impossible to tell exactly how frequent. The lack of sentimental items on the desk suggest that you’re not there constantly.
The general state of the desk shows you’re relatively organised, as the space is frequented often, but not left messy.
Wallpaper and fabric to the left suggests female. (Wallpaper again suggests you live with parents due to the state of the economy if I’m right about your age, and that this is a bedroom) Cord going from computer into the space off-camera says that area is also frequented. The stitching on the fabric says it’s not a blanket, so it’s likely a drape of some sort. Privacy for the nook might suggest bed. (I’d be interested in knowing what’s over there. The layout of the room from this angle is intriguing.)
You took the photo with a camera phone. The white cord and shape of the shadow suggests it’s an apple product. You had to turn all of the surrounding lights on to get a clear photo, so it either doesn’t have a flash, or it was deactivated due to glare on the electronics.
I’d like to be able to tell you where you’re from, but the pixilation of the photo prevents me from being able to read any of the text available. If there are any other indicators, I’m missing it and shouldn’t be doing this in the first place. ;)
The lack of truly personal items in the photo itself shows want for a level of anonymity. You could have chosen anywhere else to give a hint of your personality, but you didn’t. This might suggest anxiety issues.
Being interested in the Sherlock fandom enough to submit a photo here shows emotional connection to the show. This likely indicates relation to the character, most likely to his exclusiveness toward others, which goes along with the anxiety and eludes to depression or bipolar disorder. (I mean no offence by mentioning that, don’t mind me)
I’ll stop before my speculation gets out of hand. How’d I do?
