Thanks to my friend @len3rd posting something related to a seminal film of my childhood ( #JustOneOfTheGuys from 1985 - another vhs tape from my uncle's video store in heavy rotation at my house) & causing me to comment in said post how I felt that lead actors #JoyceHyser & #ClaytonRohner should have become big stars. The film really had an awesome ensemble in 80's stalwarts #WiliamZabka #DeborahGoodrich #SherilynFenn #LeighMcCloskey #ArteGross #StuCharno & this made me think of #ToniHudson who I also expected to have a major career. I loved her as Hyser's Scene stealing BFF Denise & the object of lust of the ridiculously horny #BillyJacoby as Hyser's little brother. Then I recalled only seeing her in one other film, #PrimeRisk an oddly now relevant dramatic action film co-starring #LeeMontgomery about a plot to destroy the American monetary system & I remember loving it & was happy that she was the female lead. Even at age 9 in '85, the #SHAMEfulClutter was forming & I was expecting to see a lot more of this talented young actress who had impressed me with her range and being adept at comedy, drama & action-adventure genres. And then nada, until today. I had no idea she appeared on the soap opera #Capitol ( her 1st acting gig), was married to #DirkBenedict with whom she had two sons before divorcing, nor that she was one of the leads in the recently posted about by @slasherstudios 1988 #GreydonClark horror film #Uninvited about a mutant cat wreaking havoc on a yacht that I now must see solely for Toni. She is on Twitter & look how the cute 80's ingeneue blossomed into a real beauty! She is now a published author and is somewhat of a positivity and healthy living guru. I would love to see her return to acting.
