Introducing the Great Pillar Respite
Hymtia is the most selfless and sweetest among her peers, with a strong sense of morality and compassion for all she meets. She often places those feelings aside when engaging in her work; a neutral presence that maintains and fixes collapsing worlds, never interfering with how they play out. As per her agreement with Death, she helps the Pillars navigate the realms beyond Thereafter, maintain Thereafter's stability as her top priority and keep an eye (or two) on Wrath (Azelmir- or Az, Azzy and Azel, as Hym affectionately calls him).
She's a celestial demon who spawned into existence on the whim of a lazy deity, with the sole purpose of cleaning up and fixing the technical faults of dimensions and other planes of reality. Made possible by ancient magic, she has the ability to create and control a fleet of eyes, of which she uses to monitor worlds. She has domain over her own realm, which she can alter and bend to her will. It is from here she has access to whatever worlds lie in the great beyond and Thereafter.
The offshoot realm Azel ends up is that of Hym's. Her soul was trapped, aimlessly wandering the realm in search of her original body, that of which was previously murdered and hidden. Their dire situations perfectly aligned with one another, leading to their subsequent friendship. She welcomed him to stay in her realm as thanks for assisting her in finding her old body, and creating a new one for her soul to inhabit. The two titans are very close (Azelmir falling for her almost immediately) and are rarely ever seen a part. The aftermath of Death's attack on Azelmir only brought him and her closer.
Recent events has forced her to confront thoughts she would much rather not entertain, though some she is willing to explore if it means lightening the burden of many worlds from her shoulders. Whatever she chooses, all she knows for certain is that she wants Azel by her side, forever.
