Ryden is so sad?? And also i genuinely can’t tell Ryan’s emotions on it he’s so hard to read. For this I wanna be clear that I do think the guys could’ve liked each other while dating other people. Does that mean they don’t love their wives / girlfriends? No. I want someone to talk about it with but this will do. So basically it was pretty clear Brendon had feelings for Ryan like c’mon I’d act the exact same.. Atleast for Frank and Gerard we can safely assume Gerard did not like Frank. But like Ryan?? He seemed kinda shy, so idk. Sometimes he’d just let Brendon do whatever, rarely do any response, but other times he’d look so happy, or so sad! Like I was searching up Ryden gifs and there’s one where Ryan leans out of Brendon’s touch it’s so clear he doesn’t want it, but then it’s an interview so maybe he hates the rumors? Idk. Or I’m insane.

Ok so here's my thoughts

Theres a lot of clips of Ryan either leaning into Brendon with a smile or backing away from him. Brendon definitely admired Ryan a lot borderline worshipped him. I think Ryan might’ve had some feelings for Brendon but this was early 2000's and repression was a big thing back then. We all know Brendon is pansexual so its not too much of a reach to say he liked him, but we don't know Ryan's. He could've been confused or unsure, maybe even experimenting. After all they were pretty young when they started.
