Countdown to 2019 - 8 days

Saturday December 22th, it was my sisters birthday, so it was a pretty busy day. I started cooking again before I even had breakfast. But we were done before the first guests were here.

I ate way too much sugar today but it was a fun day and I even got some Christmas shopping done.

Sunday December 23th, today was my lazy day. I didn’t get out of bed until 11am and didn’t get dressed until 3pm. Which mend that the shopping didnt get done until 5.30pm. But I ate, watched a lot of masterchef and just sat on the couch. 

And as I’m writing this, I’m watching one of the Christmas movies on Netflix, The Princess switch. And I’m going to bed after that because I need to work again tomorrow. Just one day before I’m two days off again.

Restless and unruly, the bed sighs and rolls. Duvets twisting and pillows flattening and still it stays awake, and it’s late and honestly a bed isn’t even supposed to sleep, much less be awake at all, so what’s the deal? It mumbles and sags down a bit, cuddles up the human.

You know, I’m really going to miss getting one of these each day <3
