There is a particular kind of light in late December. Low, gentle, and rare. It slips between the spruces and reminds you how precious daylight really is. Värmland, Sweden (December 30, 2018).

This is the High Tower in Washington Heights. They recently restored it, and I’m pretty sure you can book a tour, but I feel like this kind of chaotic beauty is best appreciated from a distance :)
