Day 8 of the #decemberstudychallenge - 5s study tips I use (let's pretend like I didn't skipped yesterday here 😅) Let's go: • 1st, find what works best for you. And find it before finals week. Try different methods and see what works best; it's not because it learn best by writing down everything the prof says with a pencil, and then just go back with an actual pen to rewrite everything important, that this is how it will work for you. • 2nd, don't spend more than 4-5 hours studying in a day. 2-3h is good and largely enough. Hang out with friends, go take a walk, read, watch a TV show, etc. The point is, don't put your social life in hold for your studies. Whatever grades you are in, but especially if you are in middle school or highschool. Believe me, you will be stress enough later in life enjoy the little freedom there is in the teenage years. • 3rd, all your notes don't have to be pretty! Why do you think the only notebook featured in my photos is always American literature? Because I only have time for this kind of clean note retaking for one of my classes. The principal is what's inside, if you have the time and enjoy doing so then this is great, but don't stress if your grammar notes are just a bunch of loose half crumbled sheets with 5 different ink colours bc you cannot have the same pen two weeks in a row to save your life (this is totally not what my grammar notes looks like hehe 😐) • 4th, this is getting long so, sometime everyone else has been saying, but that still stay true: always have some water near you! Combo-> if you drink coffee, try to limit yourself to one cup, or 2-3 expressos (do as I say not as I do ik) it is bad for your heart and dramatically raise your anxiety level, believe me, been there done that. And finally, • 5th, of your library is noisy and you aren't feeling like listening to some music, buy yourself one of these protective noise reduction headphones. Mine is an ugly red thing my school gave me when I was studying woodwork, and it has been very practical, as economist are quite loud but have the best view. Anyway that's all, I hope it was somewhat useful! Ps: bruh, this was long af. Did you really read everything!? Wow!
