that kinda creeps me out actually! like i mean i’ve definitely followed people just bc i found them attractive or cool before but i’ve never unfollowed someone just bc i liked them and they were with someone else.

like obviously anyone can unfollow me for any reason! no one is obligated to follow my blog if they don’t want to!

but also like. if you’re unfollowing me just bc you don’t like seeing me talk about how much i like my boyfriend then i really don’t like the idea of you following me in the first place!! if you don’t like me talking about being happy then you really don’t actually like me!

my whole Brand™ on here is oversharing about personal stuff so like. it strikes me as super fucking weird that such a large number of people would unfollow me as soon as my oversharing starts to be about something that makes me really happy.

Hi there! My commission prices for embroidery work really depend on the level of detail and how much time/effort it will take me to complete it!

I have more examples and info in this post here but basically, if it’s something real simple that I can get done in one or two sittings and you just want it mounted in an embroidery hoop, that’ll probably be about $15-$20 (USD). If you wanted a He-Man patch or something like it in terms of detail (and time, effort, supplies, etc.) I’d say that’d probably be more like $50.

There are lots of variables when it comes to embroidery tbh and the best thing to do is IM me and send me an example of what you want and I’ll get back to you with an estimate!

I always do the actual transaction and payment through my Etsy shop, and I do ship internationally! Doing it through Etsy helps ensure that the international shipping is done properly and accurately.

okay so like, harry potter is fine and i don’t hate it or anything but it pisses me off that Hogwarts is the school of WITCHCRAFT AND WIZARDRY so it implies that these are two different things! but in the HP universe, they’re not! Witch and Wizard are just gendered titles, therefore Witchcraft and Wizardry are the same thing, just called different things if they’re being performed by women or men.

and i could let this go if this annoying thing were confined to JUST HP but since HP is such a Huge Fucking Thing, EVERYONE thinks Witches and Wizards are the same thing just different genders. but that’s... not what that’s ever meant. they’re not the same thing, they’re different approaches to magic and it drives me bonkers.

Have you tried researching other cultures ‘magic rules’ or even just asking some LotR nerd

i’d rather not borrow anything from cultures i’m not familiar with. it’s probably bound to happen on some level accidentally no matter what sources i use bc a lot of fantasy literature is a mess of cultural appropriation but i’m not gonna like. intentionally do that. and i’m wary of trusting online sources to accurately portray other cultures’ ‘magic rules’ if i have no way to verify that it’s correct. and like, i’m trying not to base this off of real-life magical practices or anything either, i’m going for goofy high fantasy shenanigans.

but honestly i think using DND or at least DND-adjacent rules is gonna work the best for what i’m going for, since the setting i’m going for places an emphasis on different types of magic users doing things differently (witches, wizards, bards, sorcerers, warlocks, etc.) so it’s already kind of DND-adjacent anyway. i literally got the idea for this just because i was ranting about how much i hated that witches and wizards are just gendered titles in harry potter when they’re different things.

I hope you find your cat!! If its any consolation my cat once went missing in our house for a full 24 hours (and she usually comes out for food too) and we later found her in the fireplace so? cats are strange lol I hope you find yours <3

thanks! he actually did this once before, around the same time last year actually. he stayed down there for like four days before showing himself and then he was, like, fine. super hungry and cuddly, but fine. hopefully he’ll decide he’s done hiding sooner this time.

when i can! it takes more of an investment to buy things in bulk but it does save money in the long run, so. when i have the money upfront yeah i do.

Galavant! i have a lot of favorite movies and shows that i know aren’t for everyone (Repo! is one that i love so much but it’s got so much blood and gore and death that it’s... hard to recommend to everyone) but Galavant is so good. it’s a musical medieval fantasy sitcom, how can you not love it.

Weirdest place you've kissed someone?

uhhhhhhhhhh geographically or anatomically? (i have never been kissed on the mouth but i have been convinced to kiss people on various other body parts...)

I always thought it made no sense that my friends made fun of me for announcing I was going to the bathroom in highschool, because some of those same exact friends would also kind of aggressively ask where I was going if I got up to leave the room or just walk to the other side of the room without saying anything first??

yeah pretty much everyone who has gotten mad at me for not telling them what i was doing/where i was going have also made fun of me for doing it. even my mom, who is 99% of the reason i announce when i’m leaving the room, will make comments like “um okay dunno why you had to tell everyone you needed to pee but okay”
