head canon game! when Tyrest triggers the killswitch, we see that Ravage was cold constructed (and Blaster, which--maybe there's a story there). I feel like some tower bot intended Ravage to be a spy or, worse, a pet, and that plan backfired spectacularly basically the moment he opened his eyes.

I have so many questions about the way CC bots were made...were their sparks just thrown into a body or was there some involvement on the part of a blacksmith? Would it be possible for upper class mechs to commission a CC bot (in this case) to be pet? Or does someone like Rossum come back into the waiting room and go ‘sorry guys but this one’s gonna be a triplechanger uhhh come back next week’.
Regardless! I have no doubt that someone, at some point, tried to keep Ravage as a pet. Like, they probably got killed as soon as Ravage figured out that’s something he can do, but I feel in my heart that’s something that happened to him. He clearly enjoys receiving affection in typical ‘cat ways’, since both Soundwave and Megs pet/hold him the way you might a cat, but only on his terms, and does not tolerate strangers touching him. Based on his dialogue in the comic, I have a hc that he got a job serving drinks and eventually that got to be too much, too, so he ended up in the Dead End after that, and from there he met the birds, and then Soundwave.
