Summary:
She remembers the look on his face when he said it, the hard set of his mouth. No more promises. But it wasn't him. It was Jonathan who said that. Jonathan she'd caught leaving, Jonathan that she'd spilled her heart out to.
Jonathan, who had put a stake through it.
She finally looks at Cameron; really, fully. Watches his shoulders drop a bit, easing up.
"Hey..." He leans forward conspiratorially, eyes flicking to the door and back. "I get the feeling you're upset with me. I know that I probably deserve it. I'm sorry that I didn't talk to you before I went to... you know..."
"No." She says quickly. "No... you're fine."
.
or, Kay and Jonathan have some conversations while she and Cameron find their way to each other.
I'm rewatching Deception, because I can, and I'm wondering about a What If situation - What If it was Cameron who ended up in prison.
But then I think - the show would be something completely different then because Jonathan would've broken him out within like the first month.
hey does anyone remember this 2018 show called "deception"? about a magician with a secret twin who gets framed for a crime, and ends up helping the fbi solve cases with his magician crew? or is that like a fewer dream only i had?

Finally got to see the Deception finale and. I. Am. Pissed. Are you fucking kidding me?! I am so pissed off, that’s how the show ended? Why did they have to cancel it?? (Also, Johnny is officially a piece of garbage and I hate him. Cheating on Dinah was a scumbag move, but he actually expressed regret. Being a dick to Cam throughout the season was being a jerk, but it was understandable. But damning his brother to rotting in prison??? ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME??? He’s actual trash and redemption is impossible for him now in my eyes, even if the show did continue.)
