Super unique and challenging request by the awesome Cloudraptor who wanted me to draw Maverick crossed over with their own Digimon universe! They have a whole lore and story laid out for it. Definitely one of the most unique pieces I've done in recent memory! 🚀

I think my problem is that like. my whole life I didn't really admit to myself the extent of my disabilities. so I always imagined I'd have some exciting job, you know, outside every day, on the move and in the sun and with people and all. but now I'm actually looking for a job and it's forcing me to accept that I physically cannot fucking do that. and now I don't know what I want to out of the things I can. I don't wanna sit on my ass in an office the whole day but I can't do much else. I don't wanna work for a corporation but what the fuck else is there.

anyone have any suggestions for a sit down job that's not just an office?

and the worst part is that trying to save your mother will doom you. she does everything around the house. you notice and start helping more and now if it's not her, it's you. you try to get your father to help too and he doesn't and now you're arguing with him about it and all you've achieved is that he maybe sometimes loads the dishwasher. and now the house isn't a home, the house is fighting and tension and work and exhaustion but you have to do it, you have to, because if you don't then your mother will have to and you'll feel guilty and you have to, you have to but you can't, you're killing yourself

Soooo a while ago @thejbomb posted chapter 3 of this awesome fic: Under Streetlights and i was spontaneously enamoured with this scene in particular ♡♡ i then dillydallied over the wip farrrr too long and only yesterday got my act together and finished it ♡

@topgun40fest Day 4: Aviation

The first time we as the audience get to spend with Maverick on his own is him flying next to planes watching them take off and driving with them. When he wonders if he wants to keep flying he goes back to watch them land this time. Thus marking the end of his top gun journey.

To us, it shows that Maverick and flying really can't be separated without the other. It's not what he does, it what he is.

I drew an art set based around two color-themed Taylor Swift songs: Red and Daylight. I love the poetically (and fatefully) intertwined relationships between Maverick and Goose, and Maverick and Rooster, and they are a huge part of TG's heart for me.
