With over 20 years under her belt as a well known Toronto based artist and media personality. As a poet and spoken word artist, she’s blessed stages locally and internationally and her spoken word pieces put to music have resulted in Billboard hits like “America Eats its Young” & “No More Dating Djs” w Nick Holder (remixed by Pete Rock) and more recently “Remember Me” with Risk Assessment (feat glitterbox remixes) Her poetry has been published in various anthologies and periodicals including Def Jam’s “Bumrush The Page” where she stood out as the only Canadian writer to be included in the book. As a radio host, she was one of the hosts of the iconic Powermove hip hop show on ckln, was part of the original on-air team at Flow 93.5 with the hugely popular Mark and Jem show and is now back on air bringing Mark and Jem to your mornings everyday on G987 fm. As a broadcaster, she’s interviewed hundreds of newsmakers and celebrities across the board, like Denzel Washington, Jay Z, Drake and Shabba Ranks, to Beyonce, Lil Kim to John Legend, and Alison Hinds to Richard Branson.
