I’ve decided for enrichment to officially incorporate it into my belief system that Decidedly Vanilla takes place in the future of empires and that the ghost of empires s2 pixlriffs possesses the body of decidedly vanilla s2 pixlriffs and just builds ruins then gives him the body back. Because dvs2!pix will be like “i want to build a ruined path here” and then he blacks out, comes back, and is like “strange. i don’t remember building this but it’s exactly how i wanted it. Anyway—” (Im pretty sure it means he built it on a livestream and thus doesn’t have proper footage of him working on it for the video but shhhhhhh an archeologist possessed him in my heart)

I thoroughly enjoy the rabbit holes i keep running down to get historical context to things Pix is talking about in his decidedly vanilla episodes. So Pix hit 100 subscribers between episodes 8 and 9 of season 2. During episode 9 he mentioned already having 125 subs now because a large creator (Logdotzip, it turns out, after i did some sleuthing bc Pix failed to mention who it was) had showcased his armor stand swapping redstone mechanism on his channel after seeing it on reddit and subs were trickling in from the namedrop and link in the description. And then a week and a half later OMGcraft/OMGchad, a popular minecraft tips and tutorials channel and member of Mindcrack, made his very first creator spotlight video and chose to showcase Pix and his tutorial style on his channel with it. He gained thousands of subs overnight. He was at 6k within a couple weeks. crazy to think about

Update on me: I’ve decided to re-watch the entirety of Pixlriffs’ Decidedly Vanilla series because I hate myself and want to remember all the Pixlriffs lore

New Episodes Magicraft 9, Decidedly Vanilla 3, Fullstack 2

Enjoied recording this one. Actually had to find the minoshroom inside of the labirynth, then find a way out, then only started recording. So basically I went 3 times through the same labirynth (getting lost all 3 times thought) The framing device with Igor being away will also have a pay-off in one of the next episodes. As times goes by, I still in love with Magicraft

This one took 3 days to make. Fricking villagers, freaking iron farms. But I can’t be happier about having an infinite amount of iron... kinda. The farm is slow as heck, but it’s working and over time will produce a bunch of sweet steely precious iron that I’ll gladly share with others... or will I?

GolfHaus and JopieTheYellow are awesome! And their Colony on Fullstack SMP is a work of art! So in this episode we run around it cracking jokes and being smo-productive. Was really fun to record and I’m really looking forward to our next collab!
