My mom gave me a new deck for my birthday! My old one (my first ever deck) was a deck of regular cards I scribbled on in permanent marker. This one is definitely a step up; it’s the Goddess Tarot Deck, and the art is lovely. I’ll post more on it later, but the main reason I love it is that the cards are really big!

For this cleansing, I put the deck in a salt circle with a cedar wood flower on top (I use cedar wood as a self-symbol) and set it out in the sun. I only lit the candles for a few minutes, because the location wasn’t very fire safe.

I think I just did the quickest major deck cleansing I've ever been able to accomplish???

Like the last one took 3-4 days to cleanse and this one only took like a day? Maybe 36 hours tops?

I'm charging it tonight (and giving it and my other decks some divination dust for oomph) but it could very well be ready to rock by tomorrow or Monday. It seemed pretty ready to go to work...

My other decks have pretty set personalities, so I'm pretty curious about how this one is going to act 🤔

PS for anyone who was curious about method: I put the deck on a peach selenite plate and then put a selenite wand and peach selenite orb on top of the deck. Throughout the day I've been picking up the deck and knocking on it and shuffling it then returning it to the selenite sandwich. It worked a treat!
