A Jane Austen Tarot Deck
I just found out that there’s a Last Unicorn tarot deck, and I could absolutely CRY with need and want and aaaallll the deck lust. But it’s so expensiiiiiiiive!!! 😭😭😭
These cards are amazing. I fucking love this version of Death too.
NOLA Lenormand with diverse photography and pronoun cards?? I would love to see this deck get more support! I love the creative decisions on replacements that are more true to the atmosphere of New Orleans.

@winebrightruby Don’t know if you’ve seen this but I thought of you 😉💜
(Note: I don’t know this deck creator at all, just wanted to boost a project that struck me on a personal level.)
The (Un)Certain Oracle and The Threadbound Oracle Arrived!
I got the (Un)Certain Oracle and the Threadbound Oracle by The Numinous Press (or Cedar McCloud) (same person behind The Numinous Tarot).
Despite loving The Numinous Tarot, I was hesitant to get these two decks from Cedar McCloud because I worried I wouldn’t “click” with them both. With the (Un)Certain Oracle, I was worried the free-form-ness of the deck wouldn’t mesh with how I normally do readings. With the Threadbound Oracle, it’s a companion to a novel by Cedar McCloud I may or may not read (I don’t read a lot of fiction, but it looks really interesting?? So idk).
NONETHELESS... Both readings I did with the cards with the Minako Morning Spread were fantastic in different ways.
The Threadbound Oracle felt very grounded, and I really did enjoy how it came in a fake-book box so getting the deck out was like opening a book in a way. I think I’ll try to use this deck with my D&D worldbuilding.
The (Un)Certain Oracle clicked immediately with me. It’s hard to tell from the pictures (and it’s also hard to even tell in person), but the cards do have keywords. But the images themselves invoke intuitive responsiveness from me in a way these sort of decks normally don’t. So I’m really, really happy with it. It definitely feels like I was getting a direct connection to my godden Manannán while reading with them, so I think I’ll reserve this deck for readings with Them.
So yeah! Unsurprising to everyone but me, the creator behind my favorite deck made decks I enjoy thoroughly XD
How is it to read with the Adinkra oracle? And could you also review the amethyst Oracle ? Thank you
So this is what both of them look like
When it comes to Adinkra it’s very much like it’s name. Very good for everyday guidance or a pick me up. Does have a nice “ancient” feel to it with the symbols. Feels like you are talking to your ancesors, guides, or at least someone who has deep knowledge of the world. Each card is a symbol and each symbol has its own meaning. There is a guidebook to go along, of course. The box, book, and cards are all well made. The card stock has that traditional gloss on it, is flexible, and there is gold on the edges which is a nice touch. This deck is still in stock.
With the Amethyst Oracle, Jessica Bott (@thecrackedamethyst) isn’t making any more of this deck. But I think it’s a very cute deck. It’s a nice companion deck with her other decks or any other deck, but there isn’t anything wrong with reading it by itself. I love the art work on it, but I love most of her artwork anyway. The card stock is thin, but that is just for this deck (her Bottanical deck’s card stock is a little thicker) and even though the box is cute, in the future I’m going have to get (or make) a bag for the deck as it is just regular cardboard. There is also no book with this deck and it is up to the reader to make an interpretation.
The Bottanical Deck Kickstarter is now live!
From March 6th - April 5th!
