Dear covid 19.
You have taken away a lot. the freedom to roam around aimlessly, spinning time with those you love, having gathering to celebrate the little or big things, and the ability to do our daily things we need for survival. Yes, I am upset and a feeling very uncomfortable. When will our "normal" return. When will this emotional distress end.
I could go on about the how much I dislike the season of life we are living in. But I won't. Simply because if i do, you've won. You've won my ability to wake up and do things. You've won my mental battles. You've won over the plans I've made.
Each morning I wake I declare I've won. Ive won those mental battles I face. Ive won the motivation to keep pushing forward. Ive won my self care routine.I've won my love for being indoor I've won the ability to clean my house I've won, more than you thought i could
the greatest victory I've won. Is the ability to make bold decisions. Decisions you held dearly in your grip.
The boldest decision I've made so far, is saying yes to marrying the man of my dreams. You taguht us, love wins too. Celebrating with family once this is over, is our dream and have our proper church ceremony. For now, while the world stops still, our lives are just about to begin.
So COVID, thank you.
Love, marie
