We cannot know love if we remain unable to surrender our attachment to power, if any feeling of vulnerability strikes terror in our hearts.

i feel like my dating life is a series of meeting like fione/cute guys who are good people & interesting & sweet & genuinely feelin me, but our politics seem so different to me that i can't push myself to pursue it (sometimes at all or for very long) mmmmmm...
the thing is i like people ma intensely and profoundly and i like expressing those feelings with folks, but if i don't feel reciprocity or you feel like you're more in control cus your feelings are more reserved then i will get over you hella quick. a besh is still fickle and that whole situation be overrated. (cus if I like and enjoy you, why wouldn't I want you to feel that?)
people need to move away from believing that "moving on" is synonymous with finding someone new. that's why so many people are in new relationships with old feelings, "unhealed" wounds, and a heart that can only half-love.
We all must discover for ourselves that love is a force as real as gravity, and that being upheld in love every day, every hour, every minute is not a fantasy it is intended as our natural state.
Deepak Chopra -the quote that just changed everything
do you only date people whose politics align with your own, or do you not mind dating people who you might have to "educate" and check sometimes or more frequently?
