After AZ’s passing, Floette stays at the reception counter of Hotel Z, in a spot where it cannot be interacted with, quietly gazing at two paintings on the wall—one of a pastoral landscape,and the other a portrait of Floette itself.

Seeing a lot of people saying they don't want AZ to give you his Floette just so the player can have the Eternal Flower form, but honestly given that he's immortal I think they can just do what they did with Cognita/Enamorous in PLA. like during the endgame he just goes "oh btw Floette wants to hang out for a little bit, do you mind watching over her for like 80 years? I'll pick her up at your funeral"
