A Little Something to Think About When Starting a New Art Piece/Film
I noticed throughout my teaching that most students feel they have to come up with an idea from scratch. This, however is not the case. Tons of artists use the means of deconstruction to create!
Consider deconstructing or beginning with existing images; video, audio, print, sculpture, anything really, as your start to an art process. We have the liberty of creating every frame with animation but that does not mean we have to CREATE every frame from air.
