Beavers - 1 Dec 2014 - Christmas activities
The Beavers split into two groups and took turns with the two activities available. One activity was to decorate biscuits. There were digestive and rich tea biscuits available and the Beavers selected different coloured icing and a variety of sprinkles to decorate them. Some had Christmas themes, others chose to put their initials on theirs or used swirls and patterns to decorate. A few even made it out the Hall to be taken home!!!
The other activity was for the Beavers to decorate their own Christmas crackers. They took a great deal of care in colouring in their chosen design and then they put in ‘snappers’, a joke and a party hat before the crackers were rolled up and tied with ribbon.
Some of the Beavers had brought their camp blankets in to show the others which they did with great enthusiasm!
