Yensy didn’t know what she was thinking as she snuck out of her house at 2 AM. She just needed to take a walk, get fresh air. She hadn’t been able to sleep and figured a walk around the neighborhood might clear her head and put her in the right mindset to get to bed. Before she knew it, she was standing in front of Declan’s house. Yensy didn’t even remember leaving her neighborhood, she was so wrapped up in her thoughts.. thoughts about Declan, that she wasn’t even surprised she was at his house. She let out a soft breath as she looked at it for a moment, her eyebrows raising as she saw the light in his bedroom flick off. Don’t be an idiot, Yensy. She thought to herself, but shook her head and made her way over to the side of his house. Things between her and Declan had been rapidly changing since the switched gears from friends to pretend boyfriend and girlfriend. Sometimes it felt like he was actually her boyfriend, which she didn’t at all mind, but it did scare her. They were growing closer and she was constantly reminding herself that none of it was real. Yet here she was, climbing up to his bedroom and climbing in through his open window as if it were very much real. “Yensy?” She heard him ask with confusion in his tone as she went over to his bed he was laying in, taking her shoes off and climbing in next to him, “I couldn’t sleep..” Her voice was soft, almost inaudible as she cuddled up to him, resting her head on his chest. She felt him nod a bit in response as his arm securely went around her and she suddenly felt more at home in his arms and in his bed than she felt in her own.
