Demon Street by Aliza Layne @alizabug

Summary: Demon Street is a comic about some kids who find their way into a strange and magical world, and the things they meet.

Notes: This isn’t so much an LGBT comic as it is a comic that has some LGBT characters. Mostly it’s a fantasy adventure comic about some kids who accidentally end up in a magical world. It’s a fantastic comic with some great art, suitable for pretty much all ages, and it’s been going for a while now so there’s plenty to read.

The Night Belongs to Us by L.R. Hale

Summary: The Night Belongs to Us is a just webcomic about a girl named Hank and a girl named Ada.

Hank gets attacked by a werewolf. Ada saves her life. Hank then becomes a werewolf. Ada is a vampire. Hank discovers the underground society of vampires, werewolves and more. Ada sells weed for money, and is kind of a bounty hunter. Hank is a medical illustrator. Ada is complicated. Hank is attracted to Ada. Things get complicated. Hank is trying to adjust to her new life.

The Night Belongs to Us debuted October 31st of 2012, and that’s basically around when it takes place.

Notes: As noted in the summary, this webcomic has been going since 2012 so there’s quite a bit of it. That’s great, because it’s fantastic to binge read. There is some nudity and light sexual content, so it’s not suitable for younger readers. Probably older teens and up? Very good art and writing. Definitely worth your time.

Sir, Butler and Boy by Tab Kimpton (@khaoskomix)

Summary: Smut vignettes about the depraved private lives of three repressed Victorian gentlemen.

Notes: Loving, consensual BDSM! Obviously not suitable for younger audiences since sex is very much a large part of the theme here. Nothing explicit, though, and I feel responsible representation is just as much the point of the comic as anything pornographic.

Khaos Komix by Tab Kimpton

Summary: Coming of age story anthology revolving around 8 main characters.

Notes: Way back like nearly ten years ago now, Khaos Komix first started. It was a time when there were far fewer LGBT webcomics so having one on the scenes that had gay, lesbian, and transgender characters all in one comic was very exciting.

Though it’s an older one, it’s still definitely worth reading. There is some sexual content, especially in the nsfw side stories, but I don’t think there’s anything explicit.

The Whys by Virginia Paine

Summary: Queer teens with superpowers get recruited by a sketchy government spy agency.

Notes: A comic with a very diverse cast and some great colour marker art.
