I feel like the reason why the triplets dress like peasants during their childhood while Shu and Reiji dress like aristocrats has to do with the lack of care that the triplets receive from Cordelia. Beatrix made sure that Shu was perfect in every way, and that meant his physical appearance as well, as for Reiji, although he was neglected I'm sure that even as a child he wanted to look presentable at all times. But the triplets probably never learnt that as kids due to the lack of care.

Subaru x Yui ~

Subaru is so protective, so caring, so sweet, so gentle towards Queen Yui.

Yui loves the treatment she gets from Subaru and gives him affection such as handholding and forehead kisses just to fluster him. She secretly enjoys seeing him blush.

He wants to be alone with Yui, so he tries to find a part time job or he just leaches off his dad for money just so he can live with her.

Yui tries to drag him out of the house more because she wants to venture into the beyond. Aka, the big city.

She likes showing him new places and giving him new things to be interested in.

Those two get really deep into conversation easily. They could go to one topic to another in seconds. One minute they're talking shit about Kou's OnlyFans and shitty music, next they're like 'dude, pollution is killing our planet'.

Subaru actually studies! Yui and Subaru turn into study buddies and Yui is (canonically) one of the smartest characters so he goes from 21% to 78% in... everything.

He treats Yui like the queen she is. He loves playing with her hair and even learns how to do braids and stuff, he even likes to put some makeup on her from time to time. Nothing crazy, just pale eyeshadow, mascara, foundation, a bit of blush and that's it. Subaru loves that Yui is naturally beautiful.

Yui somehow got Subaru into art, and he's surprisingly good at it. Which Yui has repeatedly complemented him on, that boosting his self esteem a bit more.

Subaru is noticeably happier with Yui. He's got something to live for.
