Hey, saw one your posts. I started my dedicated step prep at the end of january and plan to take it in mid april. I also am doing Osmosis Step Plan and following it strictly, using pathoma, Uworld, Flashcards, sketchy. Was just curious whether the plan worked out for you? My main concern is that the plan has you finish all the material 12ish days before the exam and that seems a bit too close for me. Did you change the schedule at all? Thanks!
Hi!! So sorry I just saw this! I think I did end up changing things up. I got through uworld 1.5x (did the whole thing, reset and then got through as much as I could), rewatched all of sketchy micro and took notes in first aid, and reread pathoma and first aid before my exam.
What was the most helpful for me was making a PowerPoint out of the main topics that I kept getting wrong on uworld, and then reviewing that PowerPoint every night. So for example, I would have a slide on heart murmurs, one on lysosomal storage disorders, one on different breast cancers etc. I also did anki flashcards for pharm, micro, and first aid rapid review (you can search for ready made decks online). I actually did my best studying 2 weeks before the exam using this PowerPoint method and flashcards. I’ll try to make a general anki post soon, it was essential for me.
I think if you’re getting down to the wire, make sure you’re honing in on those common topics that you may be struggling with. Please feel free to ask anymore questions, I’ll keep an eye out! Good luck!!
