Assuming I was capable of such sentiment - which I am very much not - I still doubt it.

We might be closer, were I capable of it, but I would not have loved him in the sense which I am certain you mean.

Such a trite condition as getting older? Really, darling, I have little say over who decides to put meaning to certan dates. Ordinary people tend to enjoy such endeavors.
